2 Months and Counting

Two months ago I launched my podcast into the world. Although, I had already been working on it for about 6 weeks, and working out a strategic plan weeks before starting the work, the launch made it all feel real.

There is something to be said about having an idea about doing something. I have had millions of them. Sometimes my brain takes an idea and runs so fast and so far, by the time I sit down to outline it, my ideas are too far into the future and I can't remember how or where to start. Other times, my brain is on to another idea, and then another one, before I even get to the part where I think, "I should write this down."

This was different. This idea stuck around. Going to bed or waking up, this was bouncing around in my head. Working out, cooking a meal, taking a shower, driving, running, scrolling on social media... This idea of a podcast was always there, never fading and never allowing any other idea to creep in.

So here we are, two months in from launching. Twenty episodes published and many more already scheduled. Here's to the idea that demanded my attention and was to persistant to ignore.

Thank you all for being part of the curious odyssey known as Animals, Nature, and You.

Rick, I heard you on Rossifari and was so impressed. The first podcast I listened to of yours was with Regina about wolf conservation. I live in NC and follow the red wolf conservation. I have also visited California Wolf Center. The plight of all wolves is very near to my heart. I learned so much from this podcast and have shared it. I plan on listening to your podcast regularly as I do with Rossifari. I am a zoo/aquarium docent at the Greensboro Science Center and have been to San Diego Zoo several times. The more I can learn about animals, nature and conservation the better I can share with all of the people I see and talk to…
