The "Bear" Necessities

This summer has become much busier than anticipated. A road trip in June was planned, and I was able to front-load work so nothing was missed while I was gone. However, as often happens in life, several unplanned things popped up shortly after returning home.

Thus, I am having to dial-down my workload a little to free up time to address the other things. Thankfully, the shift in focus is a temporary need and I feel like I have come up with a good strategy to manage everything.
Here's the plan: After next week's 10-Minute Tuesday, the 10-Minute Tuesday portion of "Animals, Nature and You" will be paused until mid to late August. The interview episodes that come out every Thursday will continue uninterrupted; because there are just too many great interviews coming up and I can't wait to share them with you!
Having to adjust things and prioritize my time reminded me of the "Bare Necessities" song from The Jungle Book movie. So I decided to add a photo I took of the black bear habitat while visiting the Sequoia Park Zoo in Eureka, California. Yes, this is a habitat in the zoo, not out in the wild. But wow, it sure felt like I was just out in the redwoods and happened to see a bear. Such a great zoo, I highly recommend you visit them!
